Water Pollution Student Notes Outline

The Yangtze river is the largest in China, and supplies freshwater to hundres of millions. When China began constructing the Three Gorges Dam, it was altering the flow and course of this river, creating a huge reservoir that forced the displacement of a million people. This documentary explores the importance of the river to rural China and documents the struggle of several families as they attempt to relocate from their small, rural farm, to an urban apartment.
