Planet Earth - Jungles
This is a worksheet set for students to complete as they watch the Planet Earth jungles video. This episode highlights the tremendous amount of biodiversity found in tropical rainforests, highlighting some of the unusual mating displays of the animals there, such as the birds of paradise. Competition is another big theme within Jungles, as two chimpanzee troops battle each other over space and gliding leaf frogs fight over the ability to mate. This episode also covers succession, showing the growth that occurs and competition when a tree falls.
